Slightly spicy, our Red Sauce is inspired by the best Modenese traditions of making vegetable sauces, but with the emphasis on the colour. This highly versatile rustic, traditional mix of chillis, carrots, celery and onion is made with only hand-picked fresh seasonal vegetables.

What to use the sauce with
Use for your aperitifs, to make sandwiches, toasts and bruschette. Excellent alongside fresh summer salads, meat or fish. The old Italian tradition of serving it alongside boiled meat dishes on holidays is also still very widespread. A simple basic recipe that still proves delicious, with a fascinating colour.
